About Marlon

Marlon Alexander Vargas is a Dominican-born, New York City-raised multihyphenate artist, whose love of explosive movement and dynamic language continues to influence his approach to theater, television and film. 

He received his BA in Journalism from Loyola University Chicago in 2020 before pursuing his love for acting. He holds his MFA from the Yale School of Drama where he was the recipient of the Wesley Fata Scholarship (2022), Eugene F. Shewmaker and Robert L. Hurtgen Scholarship Fund (2023) and Jerome L. Greene Fellow (2024). Upon graduation he received the Oliver Thorndike Acting Award (2025) for his dedication to the theater.

Marlon is committed to fostering community and amplifying underrepresented stories that reflect our world in order to bring them to the forefront of the contemporary entertainment landscape.
